I'm a bit of an insufferable, yet charming, coffee snob. That said, I love the coffee! Roasted in house, the coffee tastes fresh, and the barista knows how to not burn the shots! The understated, casual, and comfortable space lends itself to visiting or studying. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. When in Charleston, I will always stop by!

The owner was very friendly and pleasant to chat with. Came here to work on my laptop and was glad to find plenty of outlets and fast wifi! Creative specialty lattes at reasonable prices. I picked up a rewards card and intend to be back.

100/10! We were greeted with a friendly smile, delicious smelling coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. The coffee tasted delicious and wasn’t bitter but so smooth & just the right amount of sweetness with the flavor I added (vanilla latte with oat milk - highly recommend). We were traveling from out of state and this was by far the best coffee I had while visiting! We would love your coffee in Minnesota. Definitely check this spot out!

Incredible coffee, perfect stop on the way to the beach. One of the best coffee's I've had while in the Charleston area. You can tell the owner takes pride in their business, going the extra mile to take care of customers and source quality coffee beans. Highly recommend!

Staying a short time in Charleston and being particular on our coffee, we sought out the best of the best. Cooper River Coffee Roasters delivered, and every member of our family left with something they loved each day. 5 of 7 days we were taken care of by Sean with excellent service, a great espresso roast, and awesome kid drinks. He is a one man shop that really gets it done, with great equipment (Rancilio 2 group machine), great sauces (Monin and Ghirardelli, I believe), and a welcome atmosphere. I look forward to the shots I will pull on my home double boiler machine with the whole beans I brought back. (and some mail order too!)

Best coffee I had on my trip to SC. I always make it a point to stop at locally owned coffee shops when I am visiting a location and Cooper River was the best, hands down, during my stay in the Charleston area. I got a Cold Brew with pistachio flavoring and a little bit of almond milk. Chef's kiss!

This is my favorite place to get coffee. I have also purchased beans from here. I make a point to stop here and support this business, the owner is truly kind, and the drinks are amazing. It is a quaint, quiet, shop in an unsuspecting plaza but I prefer it to all the other places in Charleston.
